The Illusion of Evidence: How Photographic Anomalies Fool Ghost Hunters

Anyone with any remote interest in the anomalous research field or more particularly in either ghost hunting or paranormal investigations has spent time on the internet visiting social media, various websites, or reddit searching for pictures of what is reported to be activity of a paranormal nature. The truth is that well over 99% of the material that you find has an easily explainable natural cause to what is being perceived as paranormal. The Silent Culprit: How Infrasound and Ultrasound Can Cause "Haunted" Experiences

Vibroacoustic phenomenon is a term that refers to when audible and or non-audible frequencies combine with vibration and the result influences human physiology or inanimate objects. From Debbie Downer to Team Player: Eliminating Negativity in Paranormal Investigation

Did you know that negativity most often starts out as a very tiny seed and with each following instance of negativity that original seed gets watered, and in a serious enough happenstance may receive a heavy dose of miracle grow. Let’s say hypothetically that leading a paranormal investigation team is synonymous to tending to a garden. It doesn't take very long for a seed of negativity to quickly grow into a big weed and without taking care of that weed it will continue to spread and eventually will overwhelm your beautiful garden.

Orb-viously Not Paranormal: Debunking the Orb Myth

I receive a lot of questions via email pertaining to people sharing their paranormal experiences and looking for my interpretation on their situation. I would guesstimate that four out of 5 emails that I receive are related to orbs. I have discussed orbs in the past in various blog posts and podcasts, but I thought that it would be beneficial to create a detailed podcast episode on orbs that I can refer people to when they email me with photos and videos of orbs, believing that they may be paranormal in nature due to wide spread misinformation which is even propagated by many people involved with the paranormal community including but not limited to ghost hunters, paranormal investigators, paranormal enthusiasts, online video channels, theatrical movies, and televised paranormal programming.

The Science of the Shadows: Why Nighttime is the Right Time - Part 2: Minimizing Interference

When you watch paranormal investigation television shows you may have noticed that the extreme majority of investigations or ghost hunts are completed at night. Have you ever wondered why this is so? Today’s podcast episode is part two of a two part series where we will discuss this phenomenon. On part one we discussed how many paranormal investigations, ghost hunts, ghost tours, and paranormal themed televisions shows are done at night simply for the spooky factor as not all groups use a level of science that would cause you to choose to engage in paranormal related activities at night for scientific purposes. We also discussed how sometimes it is due to scheduling necessities due to the investigators or clients working during the day. Today we will discuss the science component and reasons for conducting paranormal investigations in the evening.
